I often dreamed of owning my own beauty salon, but finding premises proved impossible. I wanted somewhere discreet. Somewhere, clients could come without bumping into friends/neighbours as not everyone wants people to know that they are having a “tweakment”. Then, the opportunity arose to have a salon built in the grounds of my home. A rural, tranquil location with free parking & more importantly the ability to offer that desired privacy to clients.
Over the years I have worked with various professional products and now work mainly with three amazing brands. Each brand has unique aspects enabling me to offer my clients a truly bespoke treatment tailored to a wider range of needs, even extending to those undergoing chemotherapy treatment (which would usually exclude them from having most treatments at a salon).
I love researching new products, treatments and machines – are they a fad? Do they deliver results? All the treatments that I offer are results-driven, ranging from Cancer Care Facials to Medical Grade Chemical Peels. Although my treatments are non-invasive, I realise some clients want more, and they want fast, visible results. So, I have teamed up with Medical Practitioners to offer clients the reassurance of safe injectables/treatments. I do not offer these treatments myself, although many therapists do; my view is that these should be left to nurses, medics, doctors, dentists, etc.
Skin is my absolute passion, from acne, pigmentation, scarring to ageing, and the list goes on. I take pride in the work that I do and can honestly say that I love my job.
